In addition, just because there’s a straight ally flag doesn’t mean that brandishing the flag is a requirement for supporting the LGBTQ community.

The Indigenous Action Media proposed accomplice as an alternative to ally, indicating a deeper level of commitment and active engagement in the fight against discrimination.
