Who is Brent Bailey?

Born in Tucson, Arizona, on July 4, 1983, Brent Bailey is an American actor, producer and screenwriter.

He has starred in multiple hit TV shows as well as web series, such as Criminal Minds, Rizzoli & Isles, and Hart Of Dixie.

The actor received the prestigious Primetime Emmy Award for playing Alex Knightley in the famous web series Emma Approved which is based on Jane Austen‘s 1815 novel Emma.

American retail giant Target featured the actor in their 2024 TV commercial Born To Be Kris which has since gone viral on the internet.

The ad portrays Bailey as a new-age “weirdly-hot” looking Santa Claus who works at the store as Kris K.

What does the Target ad show?

"I'm obsessed.

Speaking of gay Santas, the latest in ho-ho-homosexual news is that a company called Inclusive Christmas is selling a rainbow-clad Santa inflatable — as well as inflatables depicting Black, Asian, and female St. Nicks, plus one Hanukkah Hank — as Rolling Stone recently reported.

The Christmas-themed commercial shows the 41-year-old actor driving a Ford Bronco with a sleigh number plate to a Target store.

Sporting gray hair and a beard, Kris K looks all macho and hunky wearing a red quarter zip.

This year, we’re giving you even more Kris K. — more fun, more humor and more of the magic that only Target can deliver."

Once again, social media users are gifting us with #GaySanta pics — though we will note that on X and Bluesky, the #GaySanta content is more pole than North Pole lately, if you catch our snowdrift.

Of the pics and videos that remain, the users dressing up in Father Christmas garb tend to be of the same demographic. I'm at Target now and look what I am seeing."

Target confirmed the viral holiday figure's return in a news release on its website.
