Is max gay

I think of Max like a friend who keeps doing stuff that actively makes their life worse and cries to me about it after. I don’t mean that he’s badly written or performed. Some people just love people who treat them badly, whether or not they’re bisexual – Max just happens to like the worst people, regardless of gender. That’s not up for debate – whether you play her as a woman who’s attracted to other women, she is a bisexual character.

Max, of all the people in Caledon University, you want this guy? That’s part of the complexity of the series and why, though it’s well known to be deeply cringey, it still speaks to something honest inside me.

Even though Chloe suuuucked, Max still loved her, platonically and, depending on your choices, maybe romantically.

Instead of going straight up to this woman who had already been obviously flirting with her, she wanders around the entire bar, looking for clues as to what she can talk to Amanda about. Joyce gets support from boyfriend Hopper (David Harbour) and she is there when Will returns. She first spends time with Holly though and convinces her she can return from the Upside Down too.

He’s good-looking, sharp tongued, and highly charismatic, but he’s also manipulative, lies a ton, and puts himself first. He feels bad about the part he played and is even more determined to make sure Vecna loses his powers.

Before that though, Vecna makes Will see a version of a future where his loved ones don’t accept him for who he is.

Steve insults Eddie (Joseph Quinn) for being a hero that got himself killed but Dustin admits he can’t lose Steve the same way. Amanda is a great romantic prospect, but Vinh is far more present in the early chapters of the game, and in every scene, he sucks. You can choose to woo either or both of them, but rejecting either of them doesn’t change Max’s sexuality.

Life Is Strange's Max Caulfield Is The Funniest, Realest Depiction Of A Bisexual I've Ever Seen

Life is Strange’s Max Caulfield has been pissing me off since 2015. He tells his loved ones that he is gay and receives support from them as they prepare to risk their lives one final time.

Keep scrolling for a breakdown of where each character ended up — including if they are still alive or dead — in part 2 of season 5:

Joyce Byers

After she discovers her son’s powers, Joyce (Winona Ryder) convinces Will to embrace them.

She instead gets even more trapped as all the kids — except Derek (Jake Connelly) — turn against her. Joyce is also there for Will when he comes out to everyone.

Jim Hopper

Hopper and Eleven start out at odds when she realizes he was planning to help save her — but not himself.

That doesn’t happen because Vecna has a strong hold on Holly so Max is left feeling guilty.

In contrast, when she flirts with Vinh, it’s overt, almost aggressive. This pushes Will to help Holly but it also briefly traps him.

The stereotype is so on the nose that it could easily have felt mean-spirited, but to be honest, lots of bisexual women are this way – compulsory heterosexuality is a hell of a drug.

Another way this is hilarious is that Max still has really bad taste in partners. She is able to reunite with Lucas though and is in a wheelchair as she regains her strength.

There’s none of the unsureness that we see in her burgeoning relationship with Amanda. It was the case with Chloe, and it’s the case with Vinh, though I’m praying that the later episodes will lead to our now adult Max having a revelation about the fact that she’s too grown to be letting people talk to her this way.
